Price of Koop milk reduced by 4 TL following public out cry

Following the public outcry over the increase of Koop Sut milk, the TRNC authorities on Thursday announced a discount of 4 TL in the price of the milk the product.

The KOOP – MILK Board of Directors on Thursday announced that it has withdrew 4.50 TL of the 10 TL increase announced in the price of 1 liter of milk that was put into effect on Wednesday.

The price of 1 liter of KOOP – MILK was increased from 43.45 TL to 53.50 TL on Wednesday January 8.

Following the reactions, the management re-discussed the increase and updated the price of 1 liter of milk to 49 TL.

The price change made at 1-day intervals was announced as a "discount" by the management.
