Motorcyclist steals woman's purse while walking on a road in Kyrenia

A 21-year-old suspect on a motorbike who forcibly took the bag of a woman walking on the street and fled in Kyrenia yesterday was identified and arrested.

According to the police press release, an unknown male person approached a woman named LJM, 55 walking on foot on the street on a motorcycle, forcibly took the bag from the woman's arm, stole the tablet computer, wallet, various jewelry and a total of 13,000 TL in cash, and fled the scene.

After the incident came to the attention of the police, an individual named only as AH, 21, who was considered a suspect in the incident, was identified and arrested.
