Motorcyclist fined and banned for dangerous driving
A motorcycle driver was fined over 18,000 Turkish Lira for driving dangerously on a road in North Cyprus.
A motorcyclist who performed dangerous driving by lifting the front wheel of their motorcycle into the air on the Yonca Junction - Ercan main road was fined and banned from traffic by the Demirhan Police Station.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, the Demirhan Police Station acted after social media footage of the incident was treated as a report. Investigations revealed that the motorcyclist had committed the offense of dangerous driving and that the motorcycle did not have a valid roadworthiness certificate.
The motorcyclist was issued a total fine of 18,196.20 TL and 45 penalty points, and the motorcycle was banned from traffic.
