Driver involved in accident on Kyrenia-Lefkosia highway refuses to go to the hospital

The vehicle that was involved in a traffic accident on the Kyrenia-Lefkosia main road refused to go to the hospital after the health check at the scene of the accident.

The traffic accident occurred around 6:00 AM today on the Kyrenia-Lefkosa main highway near Lavinium Site when a 25-year-old driver, Dovletyar Ibragimov, lost control of his vehicle, while heading towards Lefkosa.

Due to inattentiveness, the driver veered off the road to the left, hit an embankment, and flipped the car onto its roof in a water drainage channel.

Police reported that Ibragimov was examined by medical personnel at the scene for precautionary purposes but declined to go to the hospital.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
