Man loses €5,500 he left in unlocked car
A 23-year-old businessman in Paphos south Cyprus learned the hard way after the €5,500 he left in his his car unlocked was stolen.
The incident occurred on Sunday night in Paphos town centre.
The young entrepreneur had parked his vehicle in a car park near the commercial district, leaving a substantial sum of cash inside the unlocked car.
Upon returning, he discovered the money had vanished and promptly reported the theft to the police.
In a separate incident around midnight, an expatriate resident reported the theft of his car, valued at €3,500.
The vehicle had been parked in a different car park, in Paphos town centre.
