Driver and passengers fined for riding in the back of a vehicle

A driver who was found carrying passengers in the back of a vehicle in Gönyeli was fined along with the passengers.

According to police report on the incident, legal action was taken against individuals after images of passengers being transported in a vehicle on Gönyeli Municipality Boulevard in a manner that would endanger human life were shared on social media.

A fine of 5,088 TL was imposed on the driver for carrying passengers in a dangerous manner today (Thursday Sept. 5, 2024) and a fine of 3,392.60 TL was also imposed on the passengers in the vehicle, police said in a statement on Thursday.
