Passengers
who flew with Pegasus Airline to Ercan Airport in north Cyprus were unable to retrieve
their luggage.
The passengers were kept waiting for hours and with no
explanation given and had to make claims for lost luggage.
In a separate report by Kibris Postasi,
it wrote that passengers flying with Pegasus Airlines from Istanbul to
Gaziantep reported that their luggage did not arrive with them. Many
took to social media, posting photos of piled-up luggage and expressing
their frustration.
Pegasus Airlines has not yet issued a statement,
Kibris Postasi reported.
At Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, a system malfunction
has caused delays in baggage services, leading to tension between
passengers and airport staff.
The airport acknowledged the system issue and its effect on baggage
handling. They assured that teams are working to resolve the problem
quickly to minimise travel disruptions.
The company thanked passengers for their patience and understanding.
