Turkish Cypriot police warns of counterfeit Euros note in circulation

Turkish Cypriot police has issued a warning to the general public of counterfeit Euros note currently in circulation 

According to the announcement, fake money consisting of 500 Euro banknotes was put into circulation in a bank in Haspolat on Thursday.

The serial numbers of these notes are as follows: 

X 03346387616,
X 01456391774,
X 01456387706

The police warned banks, foreign exchange companies, financial institutions, markets and citizens, as well as individuals and institutions holding money in the amount of 500 Euros, to be very careful.
