17-Year-old Turkish Cypriot girl allegedly raped by relatives in Karpas

A 17-year-old Turkish Cypriot girl in Karpas has reported a case of rape to the police claiming that she was raped by several people, including her relatives.

The incident reportedly happened between 2018-2019.

Police quickly launched an investigation into the incident leading to the arrest of 3 people, including the relatives of the young girl, with a court order.

They were taken to the Iskele Accident Court on Thursday.
