77-year-old man in intensive care unit dies of Covid-19 in TRNC

A 77-year-old man has died of Covid-19 at the Lefkosa State Hospital, bringing to 8, the number of Covid-19 related death in the TRNC.

In an announcement by the TRNC Ministry of Health on Sunday, it said 77-year-old Covid-19 patient Sevim Sakinsel, who was taken into intensive care today has died.

"Sevim Akansel, suffered from a chronic lung disease with idiopathic fibrosis and died in quarantine intensive care unit."
