TRNC citizens told not to purchase airline tickets until official announcement is made

The TRNC Minister for Public Works and Communications Tolga Atakan has announced that sometime this week it will become clear when scheduled flights will begin and called on citizens not to purchase any airline tickets until an official announcement is made.

Speaking to the TAK news agency Minister Atakan said that they were working on the issue and trying to agree on a date when scheduled flights could begin.

He called on citizens not to purchase any airline tickets until an official statement has been made by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus authorities so as not to be negatively affected.\
