Yellow Weather Alert issued for Thursday, temperatures to reach 41 C
The Cyprus Met Office has issued an extreme high temperature warning
for Thursday with temperatures expected to reach 41 C inland.
It will be the sixth consecutive day with temperatures of between 10 C and 12 C above the seasonal average.
Some respite from the extreme heat is expected as from Friday with a significant drop in temperatures to just a little above average and the possibility of showers expected over the weekend.
