Eight new cases of coronavirus recorded in south Cyprus on Sunday

Eight new cases of coronavirus were reported in southern Cyprus on Sunday, which brings the total number of cases there to 872 including 10 at British Bases.

The new cases were confirmed from about 19,035 carried out in the last 24 hours. 

Three of the new cases were found through contact tracing, two were people who came from abroad and two cases which were found after testing through private initiative. 

One case was confirmed through the general hospitals’ microbiological laboratories.
