Some supermarkets in North Cyprus have started fixing plexiglass
screens to checkout desks to avoid the transmission of coronavirus.
Supermarkets have also began providing hand
sanitiser and gloves at the entrance for customers as well as applying
queuing systems so that customers can maintain a safe distance between
themselves.
Supermarkets in the country are opened from 6am-8pm.
Customers are advised to minimise their shopping trips to avoid crowding.
