Man threatened to beat up police officer in Kyrenia, jailed for 3 days
A Turkish Cypriot man is currently cooling his heels in prison after insulting and threatening to beat a police officer in Kyrenia, North Cyprus.
The incident happened last week when Murat Dindi was stopped in traffic by a police officer over a traffic office.
Instead of pleading, he decided to go all out on the officer.
He was arrested and taken to a court in Kyrenia where he was remanded for 3 days.

Thank the uniform you are putting on, I would have broken your teeth and nose, he continued.
Take off the uniform and come, he added.
