Man arrested for sexually assaulting hotel worker in Lefkosa
A 45-year-old man has been sent to prison in north Cyprus for sexually assaulting a 25-year-old hotel worker.
The incident happened City Royal hotel in Lefkosa on February 8.
The accused, a 45-year-old hotel customer reportedly kissed the victim on the lips without her consent at about 1:30am on Saturday, February, 2020.
The accused was arrested this week and taken to a court in Lefkosa on charges of sexual assault. He denied the accusations leveled against him
Police investigation revealed that the accused came into the island on February 8 and lodged in room 115.
He was released on bail and banned from leaving the country until trial.
