Cyprus Weather Update: Cold weather continues with temperatures around 8 degrees

It will be another cold day as high pressure and a cold air mass which will recede on Wednesday continue to affect the area.

Monday will be mainly fine and cold.

Temperatures will be 8 C inland, around 11 C on the coast and -4 C in the mountains.

At night, temperatures will fall to 1 C on the coast, around 3 C on the coast and -9 C in the highest Troodos peaks.

Tuesday will be cloudy at intervals with light showers mainly from midday on. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with light showers.

Temperatures will edge up gradually and by Wednesday will be close to average for the time of year.
