A weak northeasterly stream of air is affecting the area. Tuesday will be partly cloud early in the day and then become cloudy later,
with scattered showers and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms
expected in the afternoon.
Temperatures will rise to 17 C inland and on the east coast, around
18 C on the remaining coasts and around 8 C in the higher mountains.
At night, temperatures will fall to 6 C inland, around 9 C on the south
and east coasts. around 8 C on the west and north coasts and around 0 C
in the higher mountains.
Wednesday will start of mainly fine with scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms and snow or sleet locally in the mountains, but
will improve gradually from midday on.
Thursday there will be intervals of sunshine and intervals or
increased cloud which in the afternoon may lead to scattered light
showers.
Temperatures will remain at the same levels until Wednesday to range
to close to the seasonal average and will edge up on Thursday, mainly
inland and in mountains to above the average at the time of year.
