Four people including a Cameroon, two Greek Cypriots and a British citizen were injured in a fight involving eight people, outside a pub in Ayia Napa, south Cyprus.
The incident happened at about 3:00am on Tuesday.
The Cameroonian, a 26 year old, was critically injured in the fight and was taken to a hospital where he underwent surgery for a stab wound to
his stomach. Police described his condition as critical.
Two others, a 24 year old and a 26 year old were admitted for treatment while the fourth, aged 26, was given first aid and discharged.
Greek Cypriot police are investigating the fight between eight people which started when the Cameroonian said something to the sister of a British man.
According to report by In-Cyprus, the woman then hit the Cameroonian and others joined in the fight
from both groups of youngsters. Someone then pulled out a knife and stabbed the Cameroonian.
Police recovered the knife from the scene.
