16 people detained for living in north Cyprus without a resident permit

Not less than 12 people were identified and detained for living in north Cyprus without a resident permit.

The illegal residents were identified and arrested between Tuesday and Wednesday in an operation carried out in several parts of the country to combat crime.

Of those arrested, 2 were identified in Lefkosa, 9 in Kyrenia, and 5 in Güzelyurt.
