Yellow Weather alert for Cyprus

The Cyprus met office has issued a new extreme high temperature warning for Monday, the second in as many days, as Cyprus continues to sizzle at 40 C inland.

The new yellow alert is in force from 11 am to 5 pm.

In its weather forecast for Monday, the met off said seasonal low pressure is affecting the area.
