Turkish Airline flight en-route to Jordan from Istanbul make emergency landing at Ercan Airport in North Cyprus due to a sick baby

A Turkish Airline plane departing from Istanbul Airport at 2:00am on Tuesday had to make an emergency landing at the Ercan airport in North Cyprus due to a health problem experienced by an 11-month-old baby.

The crew of the Turkish Airlines flight TK814 departing from Istanbul Airport at 2:00 am to Jordan Capital, Amman, decided to make an emergency landing in north Cyprus due to a health problem experienced by an 11-month-old baby.

Medics attended to the baby after landing. 

Following the intervention by medical teams, the flight took off again to its final destination.
