6 People identified in Famagusta, Güzelyurt and Iskele and detained for living in north Cyprus illegally

Six people were identified and detained by Turkish Cypriot police for living in the country without a resident permit.

The accused were identified and arrested in an operation carried out across the country between Wednesday and Thursday to combat crime and rid it of illegal residents.

Two of them were identified in Famagusta, two in Güzelyurt and 2 people in Iskele.

Among them, two were working illegally in the country. Their employers were also arrested.
