Two men caught on camera stealing from a jewelry shop in Girne (photos

Two men were on Thursday morning caught on camera stealing from a jewelry shop in Girne, north Cyprus.

According to information released by the police, the two men robbed the shop located on the Sea Street in Girne at about 10:40am on Thursday.

CCTV images released by the police showed two men stealing from the shop. They reportedly stole gold jewelries from the shop.

The unidentified men later moved to Famagusta after the incident.

A statement made by the Police Press Officers urged citizens who witnessed the event to inform the nearest police station.

The police have launched a search for them.

  

According to police report. the robbers took away, 60 small necklace, 2 bracelet, 3 earring, 35 ring, 170 necklace, 80 pendant, 74 diamond necklaces, including 15,000 pounds, 4,000 TL cash and coins.
