Man without residence permit in north Cyprus reports self to police in Girne
A man without a residence permit in north Cyprus has reported himself to the police. What did the police do? they arrested him.
The man identified as Gaffar Ahmet, who did not have a residence permit, surrendered to the police on Friday last week.
Gaffar Ahmet approached the Girne Police Department on Friday, May, 31 and said that he was without a residence permit.
He was found to have work permit in the country but has not been granted a residence permit since June 30, 2018.
He was arrested on the same day and ordered to remain in detention for 3 days by a court in Girne.
