55-year-old man drown at Girne beach
A 55-year-old man drowned at a beach in Girne on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 1:20 pm, at the July 20 beach located at Kordonboyu Street in Girne on Saturday.
The victim identified as Yusuf Karagöz, 55 reportedly drowned after falling from a wall by the sea shore of about 3 meters.
A video posted by Kibris showed rescuers trying to bring out a man floating on the water.
Police are investigating the case.
