Lefkosa - Güzelyurt double-lane road finally opened for use

The Lefkosa - Güzelyurt double-lane road which has been closed for almost a year due to legal issues over the construction of the Gonyeli underpass project has been completed and opened for use.

The last stage of work on the Lefkoşa - Güzelyurt road, towards Güzelyurt direction was opened on Wednesday afternoon while the direction of the road towards Lefkosa was later opened on Wednesday evening.

According to a statement by the police, drivers are advised to obey the traffic signs and markers.
