Deadly double accidents in Lefkosa, three injured
One person was left injured in an accident in Lefkosa on Monday evening.
The incident which happened at about 5:00pm on Monday involved two vehicles colliding together on the road to the Metehan crossing point in Lefkosa.
One of the vehicles was thrown into a stream bed due to the impact of the collision.
A person was injured in the accident, and taken to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa.
Also another accident occured in Alayköy junction after a car collided with another car coming in the opposite direction.
Three people were seriously injured in the accident
On Sunday, one person was killed in an accident along the Ercan-Iskele highway in north Cyprus bring the number of road causality in 2019 to 3.
