Two Turkmenistan friends busted for stealing clothes and shoes from a Lefkosa shop
Two Turkmenistan nationals have been busted by the Turkish Cypriot police for stealing clothes and shoes from a clothes shop in Lefkosa, north Cyprus during a period of two years.
The two accused working in LC Waikiki store in Lefkosa were arrested on Wednesday for reportedly stealing 4,100 pieces of clothes and shoes in the period of two years from 2018-2019.
Two of the suspects 23 and 24 years old were staying in the same house. They were brought to a court in Lefkosa alongside a third suspect.
One of the accused confessed in court to have secretly taken 100 pieces of various materials out of the warehouse and sold.
The home of the suspects were searched following their arrest where police found some shoes and clothes.
They pleaded guilty to the charges brought against them
