Two injured in accident on the Geçitkale-İskele highway

2 people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Geçitkale - İskele Anayolu.

According to information released by the Turkish Cypriot police, the incident happened at about 2:30pm on Sunday.

The accident happened between 1 and 2 kms of Geçitkale - İskele Anayolu, road.

The driver of the car is said to have lost control of the car and rolled over at the side of the road.

The driver of the car and a passenger were injured in the accident and taken to the Gazimağusa State Hospital.
