Two arrested for theft and fraud in Girne

Property theft has become so rampant in Cyprus as two more people were arrested on Wednesday for stealing several items from an apartment in Girne.

The accused, K.A, 28 and P.Y, 37 were arrested on Wednesday, for allegedly stealing one refrigerator, one washing machine, one double bed, one television, four tables and four chairs and fraudulently sold them for 900TL declaring that they belonged to them. 

Investigation into the incident continues.
