Students and foreigners entering the TRNC are given an information brochure on working life in the country

TRNC authorities have started the distribution of information brochures on working life in the TRNC to foreigners and students on arrival at airport and sea gates.

The move by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security is aimed at preventing informality and to eliminate grievances related to working life in TRNC.

According to the information from the Labor and Social Security Ministry, citizens of the Republic of Turkey, foreign nationals and students must follow the procedure regarding obtaining a work permit and what conditions to work under, which is described in detail in the brochure.

In the information brochures, foreign nationals working in the TRNC and students are required to comply with the rules and laws and recommendations made.

The brochures, which are prepared in Turkish and English, are given to foreigners entering the country by immigration officers.
