Postal worker arrested in south Cyprus after cannabis found in package

A 36 year old postal worker was on Friday arrested and taken to court in Limassol district, south Cyprus after a package containing about half a kilo of cannabis was dicovered.

According to the report by the Cyprus News Agency, police said that the package had been sent from Canada and remained unclaimed at the post office. It was opened by a customs official yesterday who found the drugs.

Suspicions arose about the postal worker who was arrested. Police are also looking for a second person, aged 35.
