Impatient driver hit pedestrian crossing the road in Lefkosa
A 25-year-old Turkmenistan was seriously injured in a vehicle collision in Lefkosia.
The incident occurred at about 7:50pm on Saturday at Kemal Aksay Street, Lefkosa.
The driver of the car, Merve Türksev, 27 who was heading from the south direction of the road to the north direction hit Shahlo Bekenova who was crossing the road on the pedestrian crossing.
Shahlo Bekenova, a Turkmen national, was seriously injured in the accident, and was taken to the intensive care unit of Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa.
