Cyprus Talks: Cyprus peace benefit all sides - Akinci

Turkish Cypriot leader, Mustafa Akıncı on Wednesday briefed the TRNC parliament ahead of a meeting with Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades.

A UN-brokered peace deal in Cyprus will benefit both sides of the island, President Mustafa Akıncı said on Tuesday.

Peace and solution in Cyprus will benefit all parties, Mr Akıncı told reporters after a five-hour parliamentary meeting.

He briefed leaders of six political parties, as well as lawmakers, and exchanged views ahead of his Febuary 26 meeting with Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades.

We want to bring peace for both sides with negotiationsA under the UN, he added.
