The warning comes as hundreds of people are going to hospital
daily with flu or chest infections with 34 people diagnosed with
pneumonia, as it was reported that vaccinations against the seasonal
outbreak are down.
Health chiefs have said there is no need for alarm, and that the annual
outbreak is no worse than normal and “as expected” between October and
March.
