UN envoy Lute visits leaders for the second time on Tuesday, to return early next year

Leaders of the divided Cyprus island on Tuesday met with UN envoy Jane Holl lute for the second time this week.

Greek Cypriot president, Nicos Anastasiades at 8am on Tuesday met lute at the presidential palace for their second meeting during her current visit to the island.

She then proceed to met with Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci in a meeting that lasted for one hour twenty minutes at the presidential palace in Lefkosa. 

The aim is to work out terms of reference that would allow a new round of Cyprus talks to go ahead.
