Two seriously injured in deadly accident along the Girne- Guzelyurt high way

Two people were seriously injured in a deadly accident that occurred at the Girne- Guzelyurt high way on Sunday evening.

According to report, the accident at the Girne - Guzelyurt high way happened at about 5:10pm on Sunday evening when a a car driven by a 70-year-old man switch to the other side of the lane, without the light and crashed face-to-face with a tractor coming in the opposite lane and driven by a 21-year-old.

The 70-year-old man was seriously injured in the collision while a 59-year-old passenger in the vehicle also sustained injury.

They were taken to the Lefkosa State Hospital for treatment.

The 70-year-old man was diagnosed with internal bleeding while the 59-year-old passenger suffered a broken and dislocated shoulder and feet.

The tractor driver was taken to Akçiçek Hospital.
