Small quake felt in Nicosia

An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 was recorded 10 km south-west of Nicosia at 02:16 am on Monday, the Cyprus Geological Survey Department said.

The quake was slightly felt in Nicosia.

The epicentre was at a depth of 65 km.

“Due to the small magnitude of the earthquake, it was only felt slightly, but due to its relatively large focal depth, it was felt in a relatively large area,” the department said.
