Man throw drugs out of car in Lapta after sighting police

 

Turkish Cypriot police have arrested a man in Lapta, after he was caught red-handed trying to dispose of drugs in his possession by throwing it out of the car after sighting the police.

The incident happened on Tuesday at the Marshal Fevzi Cakmak Street in Lapta.

According to police report, the 35-year-old man identified only as K.A was arrested by Narcotics and Smuggling police during an operation.

The man threw some drugs believed to contain banned substance on the road side and tried to escape. He was stopped by the police and arrested.
