Macaulay Culkin is Home Alone again but only in a new Google advert

Macaulay Culkin has brought back his best-known role just in time for Christmas, and people are in love. 

In a moment fans have waited on for almost 30 years, Culkin recreated classic scenes from Home Alone in an advert for Google’s home assistant.

While the feisty eight-year old is now all grown up, he’s still up to the same tricks from the beloved 1990 Christmas comedy.

Culkin was 10 when Home Alone was released, and it's become a film that people who grew up in that era love to revisit at Christmas.

The actor is now 38 and is still best-known for starring in the Home Alone movies, and as the child star of films like My Girl, Uncle Buck and Richie Rich.

He also hosts a podcast and runs a website, both under the title Bunny Ears.

Watching the new advert has left some people feeling all nostalgic.
