Pedestrian hit by a car at Hamitkoy roundabout

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the Hamitkoy roundabout in Haspolat on Thursday afternoon.

The incident took place at about 2:15 pm at the Hamitkoy roundabout near Haspolat.

The 23-year-old male victim was hit by a car driving towards the Famagusta direction of the road while he was trying to cross the road. 

 He was taken to the Lefkosa state hospital for treatment.
