Pakistani national arrested for living in the TRNC illegally

A Pakistani national who had been living illegally in the TRNC for about two years has been arrested and given a three-day detention order.

Muhammad Mudassar, was arrested by Famagusta police on Tuesday and taken to court on charges of "unauthorized residence in the TRNC".

He was accused of living in the TRNC illegally for about 2 years.

He was given a 3-day detention order by the court.
