Two arrested for changing fake US dollars at exchange office in Girne

 

Two men, both 66-year-old have been arrested for exchanging fake US dollars at an exchange office in Girne.

The two men identified only as A.M and S.A were arrested at about 12:00pm on Tuesday after exchanging two $50 bills at an exchange office operating in Kyrenia.

Their arrested came after the discovery of a dual incident in which they fraudulently made 540 TL cash in exchange.

In a search made on the accused, 16 US dollars banknotes believed to be fake were found in their possession.
