Two people arrested for stealing church properties in Iskele
According to police report, a man identified only as C.O, 42 was arrested on Monday at the Iskele Industrial Zone for stealing the church properties which includes two metal-coated religious books, 2 metal crowns, 3 pieces metal cup and 4 metal sails.
Another man identified as N.U, 53 was also arrested in connection with the incident.
This is coming few days after a the recovery of a Church bell stolen from a church in Serhatköy, Güzelyurt by two men who tried to sell it to a man in south Cyprus.
The church bell estimated to cost around €150,000 and was taken from the church on August 24.
