More than 17 foreigners living with HIV/AIDS in North Cyprus

At least 186 people from other countries have Hepatitis B, 86, have Hepatitis C, while 17 have HIV and AIDS said the TRNC Ministry of health.

According to the report released on Sunday, 331 Turkish Citizens have Hepatitis B, 26 have HIV while 5 have HCV (Hepatitis C).

The report also states that one citizen of the TRNC have Hepatitis B, 5 have HCV, 5 have HIV and 11 have Syphilis.

According to the report, infectious diseases, such as HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis, B and C, Syphilis, malaria have not increased in the country in the last few years but noted that measure needs to be taken to prevent the spread of the disease.
