Drug dealer, Nadir Hassan Nagah Marzouk, who had been on trial at the Lefkosa Criminal Court, for drug crimes, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison, while people who buy small amounts of drugs were given light punishments.
Nadir Hassan Nagah Marzouk, was on Tuesday sentenced to 5 years in prison by a Lefkosa court after he was found guilty of drug-saving and selling.
Other accused, Nawfak Athnab Ahmed Amaawy, was given a 12 months prison sentence, Mohammad Salem Mahmoud Alshigagi were given 6 months prison sentence, and Sami Badereldin Elza Alnor was given 45 days sentence.
Their prison sentence comes after, Mohammad Salem Mahmoud Alshigagi, was arrested on charges of saving about 3 grams of drugs, Nawfak Athnab Ahmed Amaawy, 5 grams of drugs, Nadir Hassan Nagah Marzouk fak, 56 grams, and Sami Badereldin Elza Alnor, 1 gram of drugs.
The defendants all accepted the charges brought against them.
