Fixed exchange rates for rents in the TRNC to come into effect at once

The fixing of the foreign exchange rate for rents in the country will come into effect at once following a meeting by the TRNC Council of Ministers.

In a media briefing by the TRNC Prime Minister, Erhürman on Tuesday evening, he stated that foreign exchange rate for rents will be fixed as follows;

-Pounds sterling: 6.3 TL, 
-Euro: 5.6 TL, 
-Dollar 4.75 TL.

The new rates has been fixed in the lease agreement.
 
With the new decision by the Council of Ministers, a 20 percent surcharge will be levied on Casino and Bet offices for 6 months.

Also, 8,000 people with disabilities and poverty in the country will be given a stipend of 1000TL each beginning from September.
