According to report, police in Paphos arrested the 80 year Briton for begging in the Dimotika Bania area in Kato Paphos.
A report by the Cyprus News Agency said that police had received complaints about a beggar in the area. A police patrol found a man with wounds on his feet, sitting on the ground, hand outstretched asking for help.
The news agency said the man, a Briton, was arrested. It added that the man had been spotted begging in the area at other times.
