Man set fire on a Kebap shop in Lefkosa (Photos)

A Kebap shop in Lefkosa was on Saturday morning set on fire by an unknown person who made away with the store's record book and a laptop before carrying out an arson on the shop.

According to police report, the unidentified person, a male entered the "Marmara Kebap" shop located in Marmara, Lefkosa at about 3:00am on Saturday morning.

The suspect first made away with some goods inside the shop before setting the shop on fire, the report said.

The fire was extinguished by fire crews. Several properties and goods including plastics tables, chair, billboard were damaged by the fire.

Police said the suspect might have gained entry into the shop with the help of a key.

Police say they are currently looking for the suspect.
